This is the blog of CraigO, the Zen Duder.

Please also visit our main page at the Zen Duder Recording Studio.

Craig began recording at the age of 15, after working all summer as a bagboy in order to acquire the funds to purchase a TEAC A-3340s 4 track tape deck which was the state of the art at the time.

It cost $930 in 1977, and featured sound on sound overdubbing.

So the duder ended up with a degree in Computer Engineering and spent a decade designing and testing personal computers for IBM in Boca Raton Florida.

Fast forward to 2017, the duder is operating a very capable project studio in Nebo, North Carolina at the Boffin Hollow Resort.

In this space, Craig will post his own ramblings on the subjects of music, recording and art. We hope you enjoy it.
